| Majority of plastic products are molding by injection mould. Mould designers depended their intuitions and experiences on mould design. So there is always debugged and corrected again and again before mould can be used to produce products. Not only the mould design cycle is lengthening and the mould cost is higher, but also the quality of the product can not be guaranteed. Taking advantage of the CAD/CAE technology, those problems can be solved. In this thesis, based on AutoCAD 2000 by the tools of Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 and Object ARX 2000, through analysis about the characteristic of plastic injection mold design, the Computer Aided Design of temperature control system for the plastic injection mold was developed.In this paper, the constitute of the character in the temperature control system, the applications and management of database, and the technology of object-oriented programming were systematically explored. The integration in CAD&CAE was tried to utilize in the mould design with the advanced MOLDFLOW software. At last, an actual process of the mold design for a plastic part was demonstrated, which showed that the idea of system was feasible and it could be used expediently to satisfy the demands of mold design. |
