As a necessary production equipment,mould leads the trend of future craftsmanship development and reflects the country's industrial strength.Compared with the traditional mold forming technology,which mainly depends on the working experience of the workers,the mold development often requires a large number of continuous trial molding and mold repair process to complete the design.The emergence of Computer Aided Engineering(CAE)technology and its extensive application in the field of mold design have greatly improved the efficiency of mold design,and play a vital role in this field,making the mold manufacturing process from the traditional simplification,low efficiency to portability,efficiency,diversification and high precision.In this paper,the injection mould is designed for the base of the telecontrol of the TV set,mainly including model flow simulation analysis and mould structure design.The main contents include:1)The 3D modeling of the TV remote control base is completed based on Pro/E.Making a deep understanding of the structure of the workpiece and using the Moldflow/MPI model flow analysis software to solve the problem of model grid division,repair,and the initial selection of the gate location and so on.Considering the actual demand,the factors such as small product structure and mass production are taken into account,and the structure of a single mode two-cavity is used.2)This paper analyzes the common gate form of the remote control base,and sets up three schemes including point gate,side gate and latent gate.Based on Moldflow,the numerical simulation of the injection molding process of the remote control base is completed,and the filling,flow,cooling and warping of three different schemes are studied.After comparing and analyzing the simulation results,the point gate scheme is used as the best gate scheme to design the single-mode multi-cavity mold.According to the optimization results,the volume shrinkage rate while ejecting is reduced,which lays the foundation for subsequent mold design to get high quality products.3)In view of the manufacturing and technological requirements of the mold,aiming at the partial structure of the punch and die in the parts,the form of insert structure is creatively used,which effectively improves the quality of the mold and the production efficiency is improved.In addition,in order to ensure the mold conforms to the actual production requirements,the mold cavity wall thickness is comprehensively checked,and according to the shape of the parts,the injection molding machine,mould frame,gating system,parting surface,molding parts,guiding,positioning and spacing mechanism,lateral core pulling mechanism,demoulding mechanism,exhaust system and cooling system have been designed in detail.Finally,the general assembly drawing of the mold based on AutoCAD software is completed in order to realize the aim of optimization design of the mold,and it has high practical application value.
