The exploitation of the bagasse produced during the traditional Chinese medicine processing into feed aditives were studied in this thesis. Liquid fermentation were performed with the Indigowoad root bagasse produced by water extraction - alchohol precipitation as media. And solid state fermentation with the solid wastes produced by water extraction were also studied. The main contents and results were as follows:The main content of the alchohol precipitated material was analyzed. It was determined that the total sugar was 52.4g/100g, reductive sugar was 17.3g/100g, crude protein was 13.1g/100g. And then the material was liquefacted and saccharificated. The optimal liquefaction condition were: the substrate concentration 12.3g/100mL, temperature 90℃, pH6.5, enzyme 10U/g, time 2h;the saccharification condition were: temperature 50℃, pH5.5, enzyme 100U/g, time 5h.Submerged fermentation with this liquefacted material was studied and the fermentation condition were determinted. The optimized culture condition of Candida utilis was: the hydrolyzate concentration 7.35g/100mL, temperature 28℃, pH value of media was 5.5-6.5, inoculum size was 9% and 100 mL media per flask(500mL). Saccharomyces cerevisiace: the hydrolyzate concentration 9.8 g/100mL, temperature 25℃, pH value 6.0, inoculum size 9% and 100mL media per flask(500mL). Bacilllus subtilis: the hydrolyzate concentration 7.35g/100mL, peptone 1g/100mL, yeast extract 1g/100mL, temperature 36"C, pH value 7.0, inoculum size 6% and 75 mL media per flask(500mL). Lactobacillus acidophilus: the hydrolyzate concentration 4.9g/100mL, peptone 2g/100mL, temperature 37℃, pH value 6.0, inoculum size was 6%.The Indirubin content of the fried product was 0.45μg/g. The result of the feeding testinal shows that the probitics increased the average weight of the animal and improved their immunity. As to the solid residues, the main compositions were firstly analyzed. On this basis, the eight strains of the fermentation system were fermented respectively. Then, according to the different ratios of anaerobic to aerobic strains (1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 4:1), the mixed strain fermentation was performed. Finally, the mixed strain fermentation was performed with the optimal ratio. The optimal ratio of anaerobic and aerobic strains was decided to be 3:1.After solid substrate fermentation, the crude cellulose content in the substrate decreased9.4%. The fermentation engendered organic acid, and its total content was 1.36%, which contained lactic acid, acetic acid, propionic acid and butyric acid. Their contents were 0.79%, 0.11%, 0.086% and 0.25% respectively. The experiment confirmed that the effect of mixed strain fermentation was much better than that of single strain fermentation obviously. The eight chosen strains had coordinate effect.
