Improve Rectisol Process Simulator And Research On New Process

Rectisol is a kind ofmethod for purifying raw gas. Acidic gas is eliminated from raw gas using this method. Dalian University of Technonlgy has been engaged on the Rectisol processs simulation (RPS) and optimization since1983, and RPS was explored in 1993 successfully.In this paper, novel simulation interface of RPS is developed using Visual Fortran language, which is called Windows RPS.Due to some shortcomings of version 96 of the Rectisol system, such as inconvenient operations, strong specialities, difficult comprehension, complicated algorithms in calculation process and so on. simulation interfaces of the software are explored, and some new functions are added. The new interfaces of the simulating system are disengaged from DOS and easy to been understood and operated. For an operator, simulating calculations and analyzing results become easy. Definitely an operator will not face computer programs, but the visual forms. Old rectisol process of Dalian chemical plant is designed and simulated using the improved RPS, and good results are obtained. In addition, the improved RPS is further applied for the simulation and analysis of new process of Dalian chemical plant.Research results are as follows:(1) The data module interfaces are established. The :Eunction of these interfaces is to input known values according to information hinted by the system. Then, it is very convenient to create a document.(2) The software has a perfect wrong-checking function. And it can automatically correct various wrong operations led by a beginner.(3) The tearing stream method of ZhouLi is improved. The software enhances functions of tearing stream, previewing and printing of the calculation results, which makes the software more perfect.(4) Batch processing program part and simulation part in the software are completely disengaged from DOS environment, and accomplishes visual function definitely.(5) The reliability of the software is validated by simulating and analyzing old and new rectisol process of Dalian chemical plant.(6) New rectisol process can decrease by 20% power of main equipment due to reducing the cycle flux of methanol, which proofs new process is practicable...
