The Study Of Intellingence Planning System For Peeling Log

Because of low level of wood processing and low efficiency of production in automatization , studies of the processing of log peeling and centering , a new method with the use of computer image processing technology and the technology of database which provides a real time ,fast and accurate method to gain log exterior data is introduced in the wood processing . it is benefit to improve the accuracy of centering ,wood using rate , the rate of full sheet, log processing level and automatization level.It is discussed that the use of computer image processing technology in wood processing. The whole hardware system is made up of vidicon (or digital camera), image acquisition card, mobile detector, computer and illumination system, and the function and the performance of hardware of that two system are discussed in this paper. The software modules have been designed with Visual Basic 6.0 and Access database , including intelligence planning system for peeling log ,the system of crook-adjustment for centering and the system of database of the log information.Intelligence planning system for peeling log is made up of image acquisition, image processing , image use and the storage of data, the system of crook-adjustment for centering is made up of image acquisition, image processing , image use and the storage of data . The system of database of the log information is designed with Visual Basic 6.0 and Access database, the communication of data among two computer image processing system , centering system , peeling log system is depended on the system of database of the log information. Two computer image processing system is benefit to improve the accuracy of centering, the rate of full sheet. The study of log outline is focus on the crook of log in this paper which discuss the effect of crook . and the method of reduction crook is discussed .
