The coupling shaft coupling is one of the core components in the driven system of rolling mill. As to interlocutory-width plank, because of the coupling shaft coupling's large dimension, bad working circumstance, high costs and difficulty to produce, it is much more important to do theory analysis and engineering design on it, and its analysis results are much important to guide production, only in this way can we expose the problems in the designing periods, shorten the product's development periods, reduce the cost of product and improve the product's marketable competition. The main task is as following:1. Do analysis on kinematics and dynamics performances of coupling shaft couplingAccording to geometry, kinematics and mechanics theories, this article analyses the geometry relation, mechanics relation and dynamics relation between each part of coupling shaft coupling when it works, and analyses its efficiency and life.2. Do structure design on the universal-shaftThis article researches into the design of cross-axle, which is an important component of coupling shaft coupling, the structure design of cross-axle assembly windage, analyses the windage of bearing when it is fixed, the main material, technics and precision of a coupling shaft coupling and an outer ring of bearing, and it also researches into the structure design of flex spline-pair in a middle-axle. Based on this, this article discusses the standard of cross-universal-shaft and chooses the calculation method, and then gives the two selection schemes to choose a coupling shaft coupling: the one is according to the bearing's life and the other is according to the type of transfer torsion3. Do design analysis on the coupling shaft couplingAccording to the design request of rolling mill, this article does detailed mechanics analysis and calculation. It founds an analysis model and then does the mechanics analysis while doing the design calculation of the cross-axle. On the basis of the designing and calculation, it applies the modeling-technique of a three-dimensional entity, founds a three-dimensional entity model of coupling shaft coupling and does Finite Element Analysis on flange-fork, which is a composing part of coupling shaft coupling.
