Propyzamide,whose chemical appellation is 3,5-dichloro-N-(l,l-dimethylpropynyl)benzam-ide, is a good useful herbicide.It is mainly used to kill the broad-leaved weeds.The thesis primarily introduces the development of Propyzamide at home and abroad.Besides it also chooses synthesi- zing routes,obtaining the products.Finally,It gives our comparisons and evaluations.First, this thesis describes today's world general situation of the pesticide, especially the herbicide. We make sure that it is important,necessary to develop Propyzamide.Secondly, reading a lot of literature, we summarize and devise some main routes to prepare Propyzamide and its intermediates.According to the possibility of synthesis, we take into consideration today's equipment in our laboratory and mechanism of each chemical reaction,and then select the route with 3-ol-3-methylbutyne and o-amino benzoic acid as the raw materials.With a lot of work done, we have get the productsin the route.In addition, according to the experiment data, the thesis compares and evaluates the two methods of preparing 3-chloro-3-methylbutyne with 3-ol-3-methylbutyne, concluding that the method with concentrated hydrochloric acid as chloroidized reagent is easier to be industrialized. The method with HC1 gas as chloridized reagent involves gas-liquid reaction,so the reactents can't react adequately, and it take a long period of time. Comparing,the method with concentrated hydrochloric acid has some merit,such as adequate reaction,take a short time, product with supernal content.Finally, refering the literature, we perfect the method of preparing Propyzamide.Prefected method is easy to operated. And what is more, the raw materials are easy to obtain. After crystal-ed in the methanol, the products accord with international request.Based on the literature and experiment, the thesis gets a economical and reasonable technical route to prepare Propyzamide,offering important gists for industrialisation production.
