Taking different component of corundum refractory as sample, the erosion resistance of refractory at high temperature was investigated by the ABR-1450A high temperature anti-erosion test apparatus, and that is the new test method of the erosion resistance of refractory at high temperature introduced in the article. The preliminary examination indicated that the anti-erosion test apparatus have a good experimental data stability, a high performance, and this test method is suited to study erosive-wear mechanism and wear-resisting performance test.The anti-erosion properties and microstructure of different component corundum refractory at different environments were studied by means of the microstructure analysis of SEM. The influence factors of the erosion resistance of corundum refractory at high temperature were discussed. The result shows that: 1. The anti-erosion properties will improve while the bulk density is improved. 2. The anti-erosion properties of corundum refractory is closely relevant to the cement content, and the high-temperature anti-erosion properties will be worse with more cement content. 3. Little micro-silica will be better on improving the anti-erosion properties. 4. The rate of erosion will accrue with the rising of erosion temperature, and come up to the top at 1000℃. 5. The erosion of corundum refractory perform obvious brittle erosion character, and its rate of erosion will be bigger with impact angle's growing up. If the impact angle is same, big particles size abrasive media has more influence to erosion than small one.
