Based on the background of the long-term deep study of extractants' surface properties by our team, the application in the preparation of nano-materal and organic nano-fluids of Cyanex 302 have been studied in this dissertation.Firstly, stable fluids containing Bi2S3 nano-particles in gasoline have been directly prepared by the extraction-precipitation method. Bismuth nitrate was extracted into the non-polar solvent by thio-substituted phosphinic acid extractant Cyanex302, then Bi(III) in the organic phase was reacted with H2S for longer than 18h. Stable fluids containing Bi2S3 nano-particles were obtained. Simultaneously, Bi2S3 nano-particles have been prepared in alcohol-water medium, and then redispersed in organic solvent such as gasoline. Finally fluids containing Bi2S3 nano-particles have been obtained. The analysis and characterization using TEM, IR, XRD et.al indicate that there is a chemical bond force between the Bi2S3 nano-particles and the extractant Cyanex 302. The extractant, acted as the surface modifier, prevented the particle aggregation and increases the loading amount in the organic solvent. The size of Bi2S3 nano-particles prepared by extraction-precipitation method is smaller, and the loading concentration, as high as 19.27gL-1,is much larger than that prepared by "alcohol-water" method. It might open a new route for its manufacture in a large sacle.Secondly, the loaded organic phase of solvent extraction between Cyanex 302 and Bi3+ or Mo (VI) is used directly by the solvothermal method to produce Bi2S3 nano-rods and M0S2 ball well dispersed in μm range. Some factors influencing the morphology of prepared nano-material are investigated. The XRD shows that the crystal phase of M0S2 ball is the type of 2H.
