Nanometer CaCO3 was applied to several rubber by three ways:singly applied,whith carbon black N330,with white carbon black.The rubber included:unsaturated polar rubber CR and NBR; Unsaturated polarless rubber :SBR1502,new PB,NR together with BR;Saturated rubber IIR.Nano-calcium carbonate was compared with carbon black N330,white carbon black and light calcium carbonate,at the same time,the effection of process property,process oil and different surface preparative ways on rubber properties was studied.The application traits to rubber and the possible reasons were studied.The results show:when nano-calcium carbonate was applied singly it can strengthen the strength,when was applied with carbon black N330 50phr,it weaken the strengthen NBR,when nano- calcium carbonate was applied whith white carbon black 50phr,it weaken the strength too. Nano-calcium carbonate can improve obviously the coefficient of friction,but weaken the rubber's abrasion resistance.When added some dose,it can improve aging resistance, oil resistance and flexing property. Comparatively,the abrasion resistance and strength property woese than carbon black N330 and white carbon black,it's comprehensive properties better than light calcium carbonate.After adding nano-calcium carbonate ,the rubber's hardness changed little and it can prolongate curing time.If the process was different,the rubber's properties were best if added carbon black first and then nano-calcium carbonate.The properties can be improved if some process oil was added to the surface active agent KH550,Si69 and Laiyin25 can all improve the rubber's properties,and the KH550 was the best.In a word, nano-calcium carbonate can replace or partly replace carbon black,white carbon black,in order to improve some properties,can add some nano-calcium carbonate to rubber and the optimum dose is different in different rubber.
