The pressure water supply plastics Pipe material should have the high strength at the same time with the high toughness Unplasticised poly vinyl chloride (PVC-U) water pipe toughness is not enough, under the outside function exploding the tube easily To improve the mechanics properties of the PVC- U material is a valid path to increases product service life.In this paper, PVC-U water pipes were first manufactured by high molecular weight resin , and PVC- U material were Modified through fully cured ultra fine powder rubber( UFPR )first time. The effect of the tiny crosslinker modify PVC- U material were studied The main conclusion were listed as followings:1. Based on contrast experiments, it has been found that the SG-3 PVC resin or SG-3 together with SG-5 PVC resin at a certain blending ratio exhibit better function than SG-5 PVC resin, so, it suit for produce water supply pipes and have been used for the actual production2. FWR-Z lead stabilization package is the worst in the four kind of stabilizer of FWR- Z, SMS318, Ca- Zn and Tin stabilizer when used in production water supply pipes?A stabilizer for fittings is not suitable for pipes because it's different inside lubricant will affect the mechanics function 3. Under the given experimental conditions, three kinds of UFPR have different affect for PVC It has been found that the notched Izod impact strength of the blendfirst decreased slightly and then increasd with the addition of UFPR less than 5 share The impact strength of the blend increasd quickly and exceed pure PVC impact strength When append butadiene nitrile rubber (NBR) powder 3phr4. Under the given experimental conditions, SEM observation showed that dispersion of NBR UFPR is different vary from tiny area of blends The smaller tiny area in size can be observed by means of internal mixing, where its single particle size nears to 100 nm 5. Under the given experimental conditions, results of experiment and SEMobservation showed that epoxidized natural rubber (ENR) could improve the dispersion of NBR UFPR in PVC-U and enhance the toughness of the blends6. The dry flow of blend compounds descend with the addition of UFPR more than 1 share. This affect the dispersion of UFPR and property of blends, hence, the surface condition of UFPR should be improved,7.
