Composting, one of the predominant method of municipal solid waste(MSW) treatment nowadays, it is the microorganism which come from MSW that can make the organic matter of MSW to biostabilization. The direct factor of degradation to the organic matter of MSW is the life of microorganism.The factors of composting and the basic principle of degradation to the organic matter by microorganism are analysed from aspects of ecology and biochemistry. The idea and method of taking it as microbial inoculum after recycling intensified cultivation are put forward in this article through comparative experiment of degradation to cellulose by microorganism from dejecta of cattle, soil and MSW, and the study of the culture medium which is adapt to the growth and increase of microorganism, and the feasibility of the idea and method are proved by the experiment of composting.The main works and conclusions in this paper are as follow,(1)The source of microorganism of microbial inoculum and method of recycling intensified cultivation are made certain through comparative experiment of degradation ability to cellulose by pure cultured microorganism to mixed cultured microorganism and analysis of character of filtered liquid produced from composting. The results show that:a)The degradation ability to cellulose by mixed cultured microorganism is preferable of pure cultured microorganism.b)The native microorganisms can decompose the organic matter of MSW is exist in filtered liquid produced from composting ,takes filtered liquid as the source of microorganism of microbial inoculum is possible.c)Mix the native microorganism from filtered liquid and mixed culture medium to scale of one to four, the quantity and population of microorganism increase after recycling intensified cultivation in identical temperature for four times, and the cellulose degradation bacteria enzyme activity is greatly improved.(2)The culture medium material of native microorganism and its compound method are brought forward through comparative study of defined medium to natural medium and the growth factors of microorganisn .(3)Takes it as microbial inoculum after recycling intensified cultivation for fourtimes. During the course of composting, the oxygen consumption rate of inoculation part is 1.5 times as much as contrast part, the cellulose degradation bacteria enzyme activity of inoculation part is 1.57 times as much as contrast part. In a word, it is possible that the microbial inoculum after recycling intensified cultivation can shorten the period of composting.
