Municipal Solid Waste Aerobic Composting Process Parameters Discussed

Municipal domestic refuse, which is made by human being during their living and is considered as valueless thing, now has become one of the ten crucial problems that influence the living environment of human being and social development. In order to cast off the crisis of "besieged city of garbage" and "human being embedded by garbage" and bring about an advance in social civilization and improvement in ecological environment. Study and analyzing the constituent features of municipal domestic refuse and exploring the methods of treatment and disposal of municipal domestic refuse have got an universal attaching importance to by every country in the world. Especially along with the unceasing enhancement of acknowledgement of the public for the importance of environment protection and limitation of the natural resources, people have already started seeking resourcelization of garbage treatment and make every effort to reduce as low as possible the load brought on the society and environment, while study harmlesslization and quantity reducing of garbage treatment. Therefore, about composting treatment of municipal domestic refuse, it is even more the target that is followed with interest by the wide workers of environment protection and environmental sanitory.Through analysis for the harm and constitution of municipal domestic refuse, it shows the necessity of municipal domestic refuse treatment; through comparative analysis for the method of treatment of municipal domestic refuse, especially the expounding for the historic development ofgarbage composting and looking into the future for the prospects of development, it shows that the composting technology of municipal domestic refuse is a garbage treatment technology which has a bright future; meanwhile it summarizes the basic principle, procedure affecting factors and the relating criterion of maturity indices for the treatment of aerobic composting of municipal domestic refuse.Through the test of static aerobic composting, control and changing law of the relative data of simulating garbage and actual domestic refuse during aerobic composting are explored, and a set of process data of compostization that is suited to the characteristics of municipal domestic refuse of medium-and small-sized cities in the North of China is set forth.The test results show that the citizen domestic refuse of medium-and small-sized cities in the North of China can realize treatment of aerobic composting after pretreatment of sorting, the control data of suitable materials are: degree of moisture 40% ~ 60%, organic matter 26% ~ 50%,ratio of carbon to nitrogen 25:l~35:l,coal ash 40%~60%;control data of process are: degree of moisture 40%~60%,temperature 50℃~65℃(5~ 7d),ventilation 0.02~0.20m3/min.m3 composting layer, cycle of fementation lOd.Combined composting of suitable amount of coal ash, dewatering waste sludge of city sewage disposal factory, thin night soil water and city municipal domestic refuse can promote effectively the conducting of produces of compostization and improve the quality of composting products.
