The bioavailability of night soil and kitchen garbage were realized, and the means of current treatment were proved to be unfeasible. A new treatment was advanced, which blended night soil with kitchen garbage and was Anaerobic digested on site. This thesis mainly contains following research work: the design and optimization for whole treatment system, the study on affecting factors of anaerobic digestion, the best assemble design for anaerobic digestion equipment, and the preliminary study on bacterial fertilizer with maturity night soil and kitchen garbage.1) Kitchen garbage was crushed firstly, and was blended with night soil. The blending were transferred by the vacuum collection system, was deposited in a pot designed especially. It was pumped into Staged Multi-phase Anaerobic Digestion System(SMADS) periodically. The solid was separated from blending firstly before it was pumped into SMADS, the liquid was purified by underground sewage anaerobic treatment system. The residue from SMADS was treatment as bacterial fertilize after harmless treatment and deodorized.2) The affecting factors was study in a simulating equipment which was made by the need of system design:(1) the optimal blend frequency is 6 hours per day, (2)the rate of biogas production reach most when the pH is 6.2-7.3, (3)the hydroxylation transform to acidification after 7 days since system star-up, and it transform to methanation after 14 days, (4)it need 42 days when the system was completed.3) The system equipment was designed three pars by Staged Multi-Phase Anaerobic system theory. 4) Three phosphorus strains and potassium strains were isolated from different soil by screening and acclimatization. Kitchen activated fertilizer was obtained by merged these strains with humus manure. These fertilizers were blended with soil proportionally to determine the ability of forming phosphorus and potassium, the concentration of phosphorus increased 67.5%, potassium increased 33.4%. Compared with chemical fertilizer((NH4)2HPO4) and humus manure by planting celeries, the kitchen activated fertilizer was showed to have a prominent effect. It was identified that these strains were Bacillus.sp.The conclusions in this paper were applied in Wuchang south railway station.
