Viscose and polyamide fibres are soft-handle, hygroscopic and have excellent elasticity, high intensity and so on. The new fibres counteract the shortage each other. The yarn is primary used to sartorial thread and floss in top grade.Viscose and polyamide are quite different in their chemical structures, so they have different dyeing properties. The dyeing process of viscose/polyamide is complex. In terms of the conventional dyeing methods, cotton/polyamide can be dyed with reactive/disperse dyestuffs; direct/disperse dyestuffs, reactive/acid dyestuffs in two dyebaths. Nevertheless, such kinds of processes inevitably companied with many problems, for instance, the complex dyeing process, the arresting consumption of energy, and the serious straining problems and so on. In this paper, on the base of screening dyestuffs, one bath dyeing process of viscose/polyamide yarn is investigated. First in the alkaline condition, viscose is dyed with reactive dyestuffs, and then vary the pH condition to encourage the polyamide to be more accessible to the acid dyestuffs. Concluding from several dyeing experiments, an optimum dyeing process is created. The results of dyeing indicate that all dyed yarns show a uniform colors; furthermore, the higher degree of exhaustion and the better soaping fastness are easy to get.The dyeing process of viscose/polyamide must accord with rationality in economy. The paper mostly studies the action of reactive/acid dyestuff and the kinds of factors in dyeing. On the other hand, I find the way to settle the difficulty. In many of literature about the dyeing of cotton and polyamide, they consider the dyeability of reactive/acid dyestuff and the taint.New auxiliary agent was synthesized to improve the uptake and fixation efficiencies. As the crosslinking agent, through crosslinking systems to covalently fix dyes to viscose fibres, the agent improved water fastness. As the pH control agent, the dyebath's pH value was changed with dyebath temperature and improved the dyeability.
