Cocoon cooking process is primary important in silk-reeling process, which concerns the quality of raw silk and the strech of pod. In the process of cocoon cooking, the temperature of cocoon soup is one of the most important parameters, it affects the quality of cocoon cooking and the consumption of raw pod. If the real time change of temperature can be tested, it will improve the quality of cocoon cooking and be favourable to develop the management of the produce. A design of cocoon cooking temperature telemetering system and its expert system are proposed in this thesis. In order to test the real time temperature in the cocoon cooking machine, a temperature telemetering system is developed, by adopting temperature sensor, ADC, micro-power MCU and single chip transceiver. On the basis of actual thing in the produce locale, the thesis solves the problem that it can't test the dynamic real time cocoon cooking temperature. Experiments improve that the designed telemetering system has good effect in measuring the temperature of cocoon cooking. Now because of the differences of the quality of raw pod, the aim of cocoon cooking, the environment of production, an expert system of cooking cocoon process based on the technology of fuzzy logic, neural network is developed, which makes the process of cocoon cooking intelligent.
