Gas calamity is the most fatal natural calamity during the course of the underground mining of coal mine. The major measure to solve the gas calamity of the high consistency gas coal entries on the working-face is to use local-ventilator to ventilate. Local-ventilator is the equipment which operates all the year round, so machine malfunction is always found. This causes the gas gathering in the digging-workface and even causes the gas explosion accident. With the length of the digging-workface increasing, the difficult of the digging ventilation technology and the management will increase endlessly. The complicated geological condition has an important influence to the gas content of the coal seams, because there are plenty of cracks among the geological structure tape. During the process of digging, the gas gushes unevenly. This makes the single digging ventilation more difficult. With the influence of mining, the soft seams will easily break which will cause the gushing of gas increase at the beginning of explosion of coal wall. When digging in the long-entries with high consistency gas, complicated geological structure and soft seams, the main digging ventilation technology is to choose the suitable local-ventilation equipment including local-ventilator and ventilating-canister, creating condition to whop gas before digging, selecting a reasonable ventilating project, choosing a reasonable anchor-net support parameter; supervising and controlling the gas. The key technology route is to choose a high-power reversely rolling ventilator and special great-diameter ventilating-canister, to design ventilation project in reason, to spray with concrete to obdurate the entries, to whop gas before digging, to consummate safety indemnificatory system, to ventilate to the digging workface reasonably and to control gas gushing so that the consistency of methane can be diluted under a safe level by the supporting air and a better condition is provided.
