Redundance method is adopted to identify and eliminate skid signal in high precision large diameter measurement with multiple rolling-wheel, at the same time, measurement accuracy can be increased by revising errors which affect the measurement result. To fulfil the measurement needs, a set of data acquisition system — involving temperature , pressure , displacement angle and photoelectricity signal — should be developed. This paper expatiates data acquisition task by analyzing the characteristic of measurement method, determines sensors and the other hardware, introduces ideas of virtual instrument and the process of data acquisition system development by LabVIEW language. The following conclusion has been proved by the experiment: Developing virtual instrument by LabVIEW language is a quite effective means to construct data acquisition system, and the data the developed data acquisition system can meet the requirement of high precision large diameter measurement with multiple rolling-wheel.
