The oil exploitation technology of the electrical submersible motor driven progressing cavity pump has much more advantages than other artificial lift methods. The technology especially adapts to the oil exploitation task, which is in dense oil well, highly contained sand oil well, high hydrocarbon chain oil well, and so on. Because the electrical submersible motor driven progressing cavity pump is the latest equipment of non rod oil exploitation, the failure produced by the pipe leaking and the snapped rod which results from the defection milling between the rod and the pipe can be avoided, the loss of the energy produced by the rod doesn't exist. In addition, the device of the oil exploitation needs lower cost and smaller area of the ground than others, is easy to be transported and assemble, and hasn't the phenomenon of the air lock. It will be widely used in the oil exploitation. It is very significant to the development of the oil exploitation technology of our country.The key components of the electrical submersible motor driven progressing cavity pumping system (ESPCPS) are the gear reducer, the coupling, and the progressing cavity pump. In this paper, the constitution and the work principle of the ESPCPS are introduced, and the technical characters and the development status are analyzed. Due to the very bad work condition of the ESPCPS, most traditional design methods can't adapt to it. The kinetics characters of the three key parts are analyzed in detail. The physical model and mathematics model of the key components are analyzed and integrated. The design of the gear reducer, the coupling, and the progressing cavity pump are very complicated and trivial, which come down to lots of numerical calculation and data disposal problems. At the same time, the demand of the calculation precision is very high. In order to solve the problems, the secondary exploitation of the AutoCAD is carried out by using the program software VB6.0 to realize the three key components digital designs. At last, the three dimension structures of the pivotal parts of theESPCPS are created by using the software UG1.0, and then a motion simulation analysis is carried out.Through the research, the kinetics problems of the key components are clarified more clearly. The problems are solved, which exist when the design is performed manually, such as the long period of design, the heavy workload, and so on, which satisfies the need of the market competition. By carrying through the key parts kinetics analysis and the motion simulation design, the progress of the visible assembly is realized. During the course of the design, the possible faults of the design and the techniques can be avoided, and the design accuracy can also be improved.
