Remote Sensing is not only as the information sources of Land pollution research, but also can offer to technology and precision in the land pollution assessment and land pollution dynamic monitoring. This thesis mainly use the method of Remote Sensing Image Processing, the remote sensing images are the primary land pollution information in my research, to analyze and research in the GIS and to generally assess status of land pollution. The Landsat TM multi-spectrum images and SPOT pan high-spatial resolution images are chosen in this research, to achieve the land pollution information by Image processing. Firstly, the Remote sensing image are pretreated by quadratic multinomial and double-linearity interposition, the Landsat TM images and SPOT images have geometrical coordinate and the Landsat TM images are matching the SPOT images. Secondly, the thesis discusses the mainly methods of Image processing in the research, and discusses how to use the method of density division, image transform and image fusion in the information extraction of Land pollution. The Yongnian county as the research region, four land pollution factors are chosen as the mainly Land factors, there are industry's exhaust gas and waste residue, irrigation using the polluted water, traffic and fertilize. The study discusses how to use image-processing technology to gain location and distributing of the industry's contaminative sources, achieve the pollution info of the water and distributing of the channels and the roads, obtain the all kinds of areas of land use by classification. Finally, the land pollution info is conversion into the GIS, and integrates the data of the sampling on the spot and checkpoint. Using the Spatial Analyst of MAPGIS, we can achieve the land pollution assessment plan of each Land pollution factor. The coefficients of each land pollution factor are reckoned by AHP, we can calculate the general index of land pollution factors by spatial overlap-add function, and we can achieve the land pollution general assessment plan of Yongnian County. In the last, the paper primarily discusses the method of the land pollution dynamic monitoring.
