Zeolite beta is of significant technological importance since its structure has been found to be useful in some chemical and petrochemical processes. Furthermore, Zeolite beta allows the incoporation of atoms of other elements in framework position, So the adjustments of zeolite beta by isomorphous substitution of framework constitution is responsible for a wide range of interesting zeolite properties such as ion-exchange capacity, specific adsorption behavior, high thermal stability, catalytic activity. So the heto-atom zeolite beta has a promising future based on the above reasons.Sn-beta, Al-Cr-Beta and Fe-beta zeolites have been synthesized by using template and Al-Fe-Beta and Fe-beta zeolites have been synthesized by using nucleation gel, furthermore, the size of Al-Fe-Beta zeolite is 75nm. The characterization of all zeolites has been done by XRD, FT-IR, XPS, TG/DSC, UV-Vis, furthermore, the catalytic properties of Al-Cr-Beta and Al-Fe-Beta zeolites have been investigated.1 The synthesis of Sn-betazeoliteThe hydrothermal synthesis of Sn-betazeolites in the system of TEAOH-NaF was carried out using gels of the following molar composition: n(SiO2): n(SnO2): n[(TEA)2O]: n(NaF):n(H2O)=60:(0.25 0.5): 18:13:407. The clear gel of r eactant w as charged into a s tainless autoclave and heated at 413 k under static conditions, After crystallization, The product was filtered, washed with deionized water, dried at 373 k, the reaction product (Sn-betazeolites) was white .2 The synthesis of Al-Cr-Beta zeoliteThe hydrothermal synthesis of Al-Cr-Beta zeolites by using template was carried out using gels of the following molar composition: n (SiO2): n(Cr2O3):n(Al2O3): n[(TEA)2O]: n(H2O)=(6035):0.5: (0.10.2):(15.6 16.8): (400700). The colored clear gel of reactant was charged into a stainless autoclave and heated at 413 k under static conditions, after crystallization, The product was filtered, washed with deionized water, dried at 373 k, the reaction product (Al-Cr-Beta zeolites) was white. the behaviour of Al-Cr-Beta zeolites which was treated by the solution ofNH4C1, as a catalyst for the selective oxylation of organic molecules has been studied by carrying out the phenol with H2O2(AR ) at 343 K in a batch reactor with agitation and using water as solvent under the conditions (T=70°C, m(cat.)/m(PhOH)=5%, n (PhOH)/? (H2O2)=2), the product were analysed by liquid chromatography (Agilent -1100), the final conversion of phenol is 24.5%, the yields selectivitites for HQ and CAT are 26.3% and 48%. the ratio of the CAT and HQ is 1.8. 3 The synthesis of Al-Fe-Beta zeolite by using nucleation gel3.1 The synthesis of the nucleation gel of Al-Beta zeoliteThe synthesis of the nucleation gel of Al-Beta zeolite was carried out using gels of the following molar composition: ?(SiC?2): ?(A12O3): n [(TEA)2O]: ?(Na2O): ?(H2O)=60:1 :(8.2712.22):(1.46-2.54): (579-763) , The clear gel of reactant was charged into a stainless autoclave and heated at 413 k for 12-23 h under static conditions, After crystallization, The product was milky gel.3.2 The synthesis of Al-Fe-Beta zeoliteThe hydrothermal synthesis of Al-Fe-Beta zeolites by using nucleation gel was carried out using gels of the following molar composition: ?(SiO2): ?(A12O3): n(Fe2O3): ?(Na2O): ?(H2O)= (40-50): 1: (0.1-0.2): 0.25: 900,'the nucleation gel (8 g of nucleation gel per 100 g of total reaction mixture) was added. The colored clear gel of reactant was charged into a stainless autoclave and heated at 413 k for 8 days under static conditions, After crystallization, The product was filtered, washed with deionized water, dried at 373 k, the reaction product (Al-Fe-Beta zeolites) was white, the behaviour of Al-Fe-Beta zeolites which was treated by the solution of NH4C1, as a catalyst for the selective oxylation of organic molecules has been studied by carrying out the phenol with H2O2(AR ) at 343 K in a batch reactor with agitation and using water as solvent under the conditions [T=70 °C , m(cat.)/m(PhOH)=5%, (cat.)/m(PhOH)=5%, t=0.5 h], the product were analysed by liquid chromatography(Agilent-1100), the final conversion of phenol is 39.3%, the yields selectivitites for HQ and CAT are 32.4% and 54.2%.the ratio of the CAT and HQ is 1.67. 4 The synthesis of Fe-Beta zeolite by using nucleation gel...
