Recently years,βzeolite has attracted peoples' interest in the green catalyst materials field because of its special structure and outstanding catalytic performance.βzeolite will add some new physical and chemical prosperity when the formal aluminium atom and silicon atom are replaced by the transition metal atom.The two kinds of metal atom can play two good active central roles in theβzeolite when the metal atoms are added in the zeolite frame especially.Zeolite has increasingly attracted attention as a result of its more outstanding catalytic performance,thus study of theheteroatom zeolite especially on Biohetero-atomβzeolite whose synthesis and performance has theoretical significance and practicalapplication value.Ti-V-βand Mn-βzeolites were successfully synthesized by using atemplate via a hydrothermal procedure;The molecular ratio of the chemical composition of the starting reaction mixture to the differentzeolite was:Ti-V-β:60SiO2∶2xTiO2∶xV2O5∶y(TEA)2O∶zH2O∶wNaF,0.05≤x≤1.2,y≥12,450≤z≤720,4≤w≤14。Mn-β:n(SiO2)∶n(MnO2)∶n[(TEA)2O]∶n(H2O)∶n(NaF)=60∶(0.3~3.0)∶(12~18)∶(450~750)∶(6~18)V-βzeolite was synthesized by using nucleation gel.First,a starting reaction mixture with a molecular chemical composition:n(SiO2)∶n(Al2O3)∶n[(TEA)2O]∶n(Na2O)∶n(H2O)=80∶1∶12∶2.5∶750,Nucleation gel of V-βwas synthesized.The hydrothermal synthesis of V-βzeolite by using nucleation gel was carried out using gels of the following molecular composition∶n(SiO2)∶n(V2O5)∶n(Na2O)∶n(H2O)= 60∶(0.8~1.5)∶(0.5~1.5)∶12∶900~1100)∶8% of the nucleation gel(8g of nucleation gel per 100g of total reaction mixture)was added,crystallized at 413k for the required time.V-βzeolite was synthesized.Ti-V-βzeolite was modified with trimethylchlorosilane(TMS)andoctadecyltrichlorosilane(OTS)on the surface respectively,thus we gotthe Amphiphilic Ti-V-βzeolite sample(TMS modified Ti-V-βwasdenoted TMS-β,OTS modified Ti-V-βwas denoted OTS-β)。The synthesized samples were characterized by XRD,IR,UV-Vis,TG,DTA,ICP,SEM+EDS etc.then we investigated the catalyticperformance of Ti-V-β,of Amphiphilic Ti-V-βzeolite and of Mn-βin thesystem of styrene oxidation,the phase—boundary reactions ofcyclohexene hydration and the oxidation of the hydroxylation of phenolrespectively.
