The Application Of Polymer In The Hydrogel System

The application of some kinds of polymer in the hydrogel system was researched in the paper. The polyacrylamide (PAM) was synthesized in aqueous solution and the effects of concentration of monomer, amount of initiation, reaction-temperature and reaction time on the molecular weight of PAM were discussed. The PAM and the Sesbania Gum were applied as gelling agent in the gel system of water-gel explosive and the effects of amount of gelling agent, amount of crosslinking agent, reaction-temperature and reaction time on the crosslinking time and thermal stability were researched. Better technologic condition was generalized and the effects of different gelling agent on the application in the gel system of water-gel explosive were compared.
