With the improvement of modern science and technology, the scale of control systems and complexity is rapidly increasing. The petrochemical industry is one of the most important industries in our country. It is highly related to energy, material and other economic aspects. Meanwhile, it is also one of the most dangerous industries. If faults can not be found in advance and prevented, once these occur, heavy hazards such as man casualty, explosion and environment pollution will be caused. Therefore, eliminating dangers and decreasing faults become very important.With the development in fault hazard analysis and safety assessment for many years, there have been many methods in this area. However, most of them can not completely explain the potential system dangers in detail and are manual ways which can not be automatically performed. In recent years, the study of qualitative simulation based on SDG (Signed Directed Graph) has been progressing greatly.
