With the economic blooming, some ecological problems are becoming more and more prominent, especially in some urbans. The tendency of ec4ological damage and deterioration is more serious and has become the obstacle of economic development. To keep ecological balance and the sustainable development of economy, we must emphases on improving eco-environment and first of act, we must know about the quality of eco-environment, capacity and the developing tendency. These are the basic of protecting and reconstructing of the ecosystem. Setting up a practical and scientific indexes system and assessment method of urban eco-environment is the major problem.A index system for evaluating Fuzhou City's eco-environment is constructed from the aspects of society, economy, environment and natural resources, based on the sustainable development theory and the principle of combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis.The urban eco-environment suitability model is applied to evaluate the present situation of eco-environment in study areas. And the results show the suitability is 0.79 which is a bit less than level 2, indicating that Fuzhou City's eoc-enviorment is fair condition.This thesis sets up the eco-environment system dynamics model of Fuzhou which consists of 95 variables and predictes the development trend of the eco-environment in Fuzhou on the basis of examining to the model. In case of developing naturally, the society, nature, economic indicator group are suitable for degree all there is a certain degree to rise except environment. It shows that the society, nature, economic level of the city will become better and better. But the suitable degree of environment will decrease from 2005. The trend will go on until 2020. The environmental suitable degree is 0.86 in 2020. Then, this thesis designs three kinds of schema to adjust and control the eco-environment, and appraises to the predicted values. It offers the supporting for decision-making.
