In China, with the sustained and rapid development of economy, energy-savingbecomes the hottest topic. To our knowledge, the economical operation of heatingsystem is key to saving energy. Further more, it is found that the testing and analysis ofheating system is crucial for the economical operation.The main purpose of this thesis is to perform the thermal testing for three mainparts of heating system with the methods of energy and exergy balance, based on theheating system of Da Li tobacco plant in Yun Nan province. The results show thethermal efficiency of the industrial boiler system fits the national standard, but theexergy efficiency is smaller. At the same time, the analysis of the heating equipment andthe hydraulic calculation of steam-network are presented in our paper.It is concluded that the optical boiler-designed is an effective tool forenergy-conserving. Accordingly, the efficiency of boiler can be enhanced by itseconomical operation, in order to save energy. Meanwhile the prospects of theoperational optimization of the industrial boiler system are proposed, compared withtraditional methods.
