The coal trade is a pillar industry of our country. With the development of coal trade in its high production and efficiency, the security problem of mine has been the key obstacle to coal production. Water pouring is an important factor endangering mine. Once the water leak accident takes place in mine, coal production will be held back; even the mine will be flood, jeopardizing labor's life. Pumping collected water from mining area is the job of drainage system in pumping house under mine, which has closely relations to mining security and efficiency. At present, the chiefly drainage systems in mining pumping houses in our country are traditional ones, which are operated by hand. There are potential safety hazard in this kind of drainage because of itslow automation and failure in dealing with emergency. Therefore, it is urgent to solve the problem of drainage automation under mine.Based on practice of coal producing, and making use of modern industrial techniques and control theory, automatic drainage system studied in our research is made to adapt to coal mine. Composed of industrial controller and ultrasonic level detecting instrument, monitored and control system can make drainage equipments working automatically, according to the alternation of water well's level.In order to meet various requirements of drainage systems in different situations, two kinds of controlled gate valves are studied and exploited based on hydraulic theory and fluid mechanics principles, and their feasibilities have been checked by experiments. So the puzzle problem in automation of drainage under mine is solved.The discrete mathematical model is set up by using modern optimal control theory and analysis of water pouringand power consumption. On the basis of optimum principle, and using of dynamic programming, segmental controlling decisions are made to the drainage system. As a solution for mathematical model, recursive algorithm is proposed to achieve general method of optimizing control strategy.The following features are attached to the auto-drainage system: water level can be monitored and displaced real-timely; water pumps start or stop automatically; multi water pumps working on by turns in order to promote pumps' using lives; the number of working pumps can be controlled according to the quantity of water pouring and the principle of power consumption 'avoid the peak, on the valley'; connecting with mine monitor and control system by network, on the purpose of centralized control.During the study period, we made several survey and analysis on the pumping house in S3 mining region Changcun coal mine of Lu'an mine bureau, providing useful materials for our study. On this basis, we analyzed coherent researchesin the same area, and offered a solution for automatic drainage system using in mine. Experiments have been made to check its feasibility.
