The research is destined to study the basic theory of a new technology named liquid-particle two phase spiral flow finishing process, which is supported by the national and Shanxi local science fund project. The abrasive particle, propelled by the high-speed spiral liquid-flow, move spirally clinching to the hole surface in high speed, which can obtain mechanical energy transformed from kinetic energy for finishing. The process is so high efficient that can achieve lower roughness than other technology. My studies concentrate to the following researches: the theory of two phase flow and how to form spiral liquid-flow; analyzing abrasive particle movement, force suffered and minimcutting mechanism. Through the theory analysis of the hole surface as a process object, the factors which influence the effect of finishing can be obtained and then discuss these factors how to impact the machining effect. In the end, discussing the swirling liquid-flow finishing experiment equipment so as to accumulate some helpful materials for later experiment and equipment designed.
