Process Research On The Swirling Air Flow Finishing

Swirling air flow finishing is a new finishing technology. According to the movement analysis of abrasive, finishing mechanism analysis and energy flow analysis, the influence factors of the finishing effects have been studied by experiments.An equipment which can adjust the nozzle's obliquity and position has been designed. The parameters, which influence the finishing effects, such as the nozzle's obliquity, position and diameter and the abrasive's granularity and diameter, have been studied by experiment. The relations between these parameters and the finishing effects have been conformed. The technology tests of the blind hole, the cross-hole, the bend hole and the slender hole workpieces have been done.
