The Effects of Cd2+,Hg2+,Cu2+,Cr6+ and Zn2+on Salvinia natans (L.) All leaves physiological properties and mitigation of Boron under the stress condition of Cd2+, Hg2+, Cu2+, Cr6+ and Zn2+ were studied. The results was shown that Cadmium, Mercury, Cuprum, Chrome and Zinc inhibited the activities of SOD and CAT, as well as weakened the ability of eliminating AOS (Activated Oxygen Species) of Salvinia natans (L.)All. Chlorophyll and soluble protein contents were decreased, also certain injury symptoms were observed. The addition of 0.5mg/L Boron enhanced the SOD activity significantly and decreased the speed of CAT activity. Oxygen generation rate, degradation of chlorophyll and proteins were lowered with respect to single treatment of Cd2+,Hg2+,Cu2+,Cr6+ and Zn2+ . The resulted showed that the Boron strengthened the Salvinia natans resistance against the stress condition of Cd2+,Hg2+,Cu2+,Cr6+and Zn2+.
