To promote the mining CAD software and improve the work efficiency of geological sector, the thesis introduces the research and development of open pit mining geological CAD software system, chooses the mode of AutoCAD's secondary development with the Object ARX and Visual C++ this one-up software platform. In the process of developing this system, the author gathered the characteristics of different courses such as AutoCAD, Object ARX, C++, Database etc. solved some key techniques, successfully developed out the integrated geological software system such as the database managing system of boreholes, the managing system of coal's quality, the system of faultage's modification with the example of south open pit mine in Huolinhe, and it is working now. The system's success bring the traditional handicraft protraction and modification, data's handling to automatically solved by computer, and also improves the traditional handicraft arithmetic, make the accuracy, efficiency, benefits consumedly increase, and alleviates the work strength of the geological technical personnel greatly.
