In order to ensure safe production in mine, it is necessary to design the minepower supply system reasonably and accurately. The difficulty of design is relatedto the complexity of the mine power supply system closely. When changes aretaken place, it is essential to design the power supply system again. Therefore,the design and development of a software, which is able to alleviate the burden ofthe engineers and improve the efficiency of the system design, is very important.There are four kinds of aided power supply system,such as: the system based onExcel, the system based on GIS, the system based on AutoCAD and the systembased on Web. These methods are designed to meet the basic needs of powersupply design, however, the operation and interface are not satisfactory.Compared with these methods, the AutoCAD is selected to develop thecomputer aided power supply system. We select.NET from the four methos ofAutoCAD secondary development.Based on the actual computing power design flow, we aim to design asoftware with characteristics of operation and beautiful interface. During the development, design ideas, which are function independently and graphical dataseparation module, are introduced to develop the system. The system containsthree functional layers: the power supply system drawing layer, database layerand aided design layer. The purpose of the power supply system drawing layer ishelp engineers to draw the power supply system with the help of toolbar. Theengineers can insert the elements of device into AutoCAD workspace, thenestablish the connection between elements, then double-click the device to displayforms. The database layer is establisheb by SQL Server. It contains two parts:device database which contains parameters of equipments, graduate databasecontains the parameters of elements, device and the calculation. In addition, thedatabase layer includes forms of inputing device parameters, equipmentsselections and verification. The aided design layer contains selections of shortcircuit point, short current calculation and output of setting calculation report.Based on the situation of protective device protect the equipments and cables, theaided design layer supply the function of selecting short-circuit point. The short-circuit calculation is executed after selecting the short-circuit point. In thisfunctional layer, the output of setting calculation report is based on the Bookarkof Word. Data can be written into the template from the database with the help ofbookmark. In order to verify the performance of the computer aided power supplysystem, we design a power supply system drawing by the software. the resultsshow that the calculation of the system is accurate enough to meet the needs ofthe mine.
