This text takes ATB opencast coal mine of Pingshuo as a example, analyzing opencast coal mine for ecolouical influence and damaged characteristic. And in connection of the iniluence factors of the opencast eco-environment and situation of resources utilization, have put forward the evaluation index system which is rational and qualitative and that can reflect the main characteristic of eco-environment quality and utilization of resources in opencast mine. Have a comprehensive appraisal to the eco-environment quality and resources utilization of opencast mine by means of analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy mathematics, etc. The result of study shows :(1)The developing course thai the damaged ecology system of open coal mine can be divided into 3 stages and 4 types. The factors that damage the ecology include excavating destruction, coverage, taking up and pollution. The damaged characteristics of ecology is shown as space-time disturbance , loose hold of rock soil, disorder of the earth layers, the materials of the earth's surface is more complicated, soil nature worsening, and In addition, because the regional climate is arid, and natural vegetation is unable to make damaged ecosystem resume consequently . the new erosion landform formation may hasten, The stabilization and resistance of ecosystem of mine may drop. Opencast mining will destroy the land resources in a large amount, and have certain influences on the environment of water and atmosphere around.(2)Choosing 12 index which can reflect the pollution control and utilization of waste, the quality and utilization of reclaimed land compose appraising index system of eco-environmental quality and utilization of resources of opencast mine. Determining the weight value of every index with the analytic hierarchy process. The index weight value shows that: The quality and utilization of reclaimed land is the key factor. The pollution control and utilization of waste is the second. The top four index which effect the quality of eco-environment of opencast coal mine are reclaiming rate of land . coverage rate of the vegetation, geological calamity and view stability and comprehensive utilization ratio of the gangue.(3) This text has a appraisal synthetically to the eco-environment quality and resources utilization of ATB opencast coal mine in 1995. i2000 . 2005 and in the future by the fuzzy mathematics model. The appraising result indicates: The ecological environment and utilization of resources of mining area turned from level of 5 grades before 1995 into 4 grades in 2000. go to level of 2 grades in 2005. the future ideal state will be developed to the level of 1 grade. That is to say , at present ,the ecological environmental quality of mining area and level of utilization of resources have already been increased from 5 grades to 2 grades and become better.This text has a appraisal of ecological environmental quality in opencast mining area which is seldom studied before, adding utilization of resource appraisal to traditional ecological environmental quality assessment. Because eco- environment system in opencast mining area is affected by human largely, it is composed of original natural ecological environment system and artificial ecological environment system, eco-environmental quality have close relation with pollution controlling, land reclaiming and ecology rebuilding measures, protection and use of regenerated resources after ecology rebuilding. The research purpose of this text lies in announcing the variation tendency of the ecological environmental quality of opencast mining area, seek to method and way of improving ecological environmental quality, has offered the scientific basis for recovery and rebuilding of ecology . sustainable development of the opencast mining area .
