Weaving machine is a principal equipment in textile industry, among which, rapier-weaving machine, a shuttleless one, is most widely adopted. It is of great significance to conduct research on implementing automatic, informational and networked management on rapier-weaving machine.As a kind of flower pattern electrical control mechanism, the electronic dobby shedding mechanism possesses great superiority in the following aspects: rapid transformation of fabric's structure information, which extremely fits for developing new products; by exploiting big cycle program; acquiring the fabric that cannot be obtained by traditional mechanical method; large capability in saving fabric structure information and so on. Development and promotion of electronic dobby shedding mechanism, combined with the new-type rapier-weaving machine as a set, is broadly welcomed by textile industry and is of great importance in the research of modern weaving machine.According to the requirements of current middle and small scale textile factories, by adopting mechanical and electrical integration technology, modern control system technology and communication technology, the author develops the networked control system of electronic dobby rapier weaving machine. The main work includes:1. Analyze the current research progress and the trend of the development of mechanical & electrical integration in domestic and abroad weaving machine, especially that of rapier weaving machine and electrical dobby machine. Conduct analysis on work principle, system structure, and current status of such control system.2. Applying LG MASTER-K120S PLC as the central part, design the lower computer's control system of electrical dobby weaving machine, the structures and methods of implementation of every control modules. Through employing eView man-machine interface, develop the operation platform of electrical dobby control system.3. On the basis of the requirements during practical manufacture process, develop the data transmission module in three ways: touchscreen, PLC and PC. This module is capable in setting, reading and transmitting work parameters of electrical dobby online and possesses network function as well as the property of generalization.4. Develop control software of the total system running on upper computer to realize real time supervision and management of all lower computers' sub-stations in a textile factory's electrical dobby machine network.5. After investigation and analysis of current condition of manufacture management in China's textile industry, propose the method to construct automatic control system of manufacture management in a textile factory based on network of fieldbus and provide the module structure chart of the entire control system.This networked control system of electrical dobby rapier weaving machine achieves excellent real time performance and high ratio of price and function, and has shown broad application prospect.
