On the basis of summaried common weaving defects of rapier loom (such as woven edge defects, the latitude and longitude weaving defects),this paper analyzes key points of fabric defects which the rapier loom easily generat in the production process ,for example retting of preparation, fabric defects that impact the quality of fabric in double twisting processes; Particularly, focal point of fabric defects were more detailed testing and analyzed against rapier loom weaving project.We give The solution to prevent disadvantage such as weft break,filling bar,knees and so on .Moreover,the service life of the rapier head, rapier band and the influential factors of weaving defects are made the certain analysis and the research.We have proposed the improvement opinion in view of the rapier loom. Have the certain help and guidance to organiza production and technical management.
