According to the project requirement, a carry-home ultrasonic inspection system needs to be developed to realize real-time ultrasonic NDT of carbon fiber composites. On the base of instruction of system structure and function realization, this dissertation researches on key techniques in orientation device and visualization of ultrasonic inspection system.In chapter one, first, this dissertation introduces technology in ultrasonic NDT and development of ultrasonic inspection system. Second, discusses the application of carbon fiber composites in aviation industry field, mainly introduces the inspection method of void content in carbon fiber composites and research signification of technique in data visualization. Finally, it discusses both the research content and content structure of this dissertation.In chapter two, first, this dissertation introduces design background and superiority in ultrasonic inspection system of carbon fiber composites. Second, it discusses ultrasonic inspection theory of carbon fiber composites and realization of four functional modules in this system. There are two breakpoints in this chapter. One is the development of position sensor in orientation system module, another is application of visualization technology.In chapter three, the design of position sensor in orientation system module is a breakpoint in inspection system. First, to rebuild the normalUSB optical mouse into a new device----Position Sensor by developing aHID Class lower-filter driver, and to establish the driver model of this new device in Windows 2000 system. Second, to program relevant INF installation file to install this new device into computer and to guarantee it work normally. Finally, to read position information which can serve for inspection system from new position sensor by programming user mode application.In chapter four, first, this dissertation introduces that the entire software system adopts layered design method theory and concrete function. Second, it stresses to discuss the data visualization theory and establishes the model of property-data visualization.
