The pollution of SO2 resulted in serious air pollution and harm of acid rain increasingly. It is too urgent to put off any longer to harness the SO2 among flue gas. Biological eliminating sulfur dioxide is a kind of new FGD technics. The element is that SO2 in flue gas is transformed to sulfite and sulfate firstly. Secondly, sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) can deoxidize sulfite and sulfate to sulfide in the condition of anaerobic. Then sulfide can be transformed to sulphur by aerobic bacteria at the aerobic condition, which eliminate sulpher from the system.This paper studied the two processes of biological flue gas desulphurization (BFGD): absorption of sulfur dioxide and anaerobic biological eliminating sulfur dioxide from solution . This text studied manganese( Ⅱ) and iron( Ⅱ) of low concentration catalysis and oxidize SO2 under normal temperature and normal air pressure. We preliminary studied effect and mechanism of interring CH3OH solution and SiO2 powder as adding agent into catalytic solution at the same conditions. The experimental result indicate that desulphurization rate can reach 90% with manganese( Ⅱ ) and iron( Ⅱ ) which concentration are 0.0005mol/l. And the concentration of sulphate reached 10001500mg/l. The effect of desulphurizationwas not good because the desulphunzation was blocked after adding CH3OH and SiO2 powder to the solution.With the dextrose as the carbon source, using SRB to dispose the residual wastewater of FGD was studied in the page. Research the start-up process of UASB reactor and the differ factors' infection to the sulfate deoxidization. The UASB reactor was started up at high load. After the experiment having worked for 130 days, there were some small grain pollute. The experiment indicates: at HRT of 4h, the tatio of COD to sulfate of 1 to 3, experimental temperature of 35°C and the value of pH within ,the sulfate reduction efficiency was bigger than 95 percent and COD removal efficiency was 50 percent.In short, the production from studying the two stages of BFGD has theoretical value for the control of practical engineering and the development of mew treatment technique.
