Study And System Development Of Combination Fixture Management And Aided Design

Fixture design is an important component of manufacture process. The main handicap that a variety of products and a small batch of production really implements flexibility is short of fixing method of full flexibility. Combination Fixture is one of the main methods to resolve the problem. Because combination fixture has some strongpoints, such as high efficiency, good flexibility, reuse, low cost, it gets regarded. The management and aided design system of combination fixture based on its characteristic is achieved.Main research content and achievements as the following:1. Establishing a configuration and whole frame of the management and aided design system of combination fixture.2. Establishing computer aided combination fixture design of mixing Case Based-Reasoning CAFD and interactive CAFD by researching Case Based-Reasoning CAFD and interactive CAFD.3. Achieving an integration of the system and Pro/E. Bill of material is introduced into a Pro/E assembling drawing from combination fixture assembling design. Through assessing structure tree of the fixture, getting the bill of component category and quantity automatically. Sharing data with CAD and protecting the consistency of data.4. Assistant location error calculating of the combination fixture is based on the theory of dimension chain.5. Adopting ABC inventory managements batch processing and so on to run the inventory of the combination fixture station.6. Outputting report in the form of EXCEL in order to achieve sharing information with ERP.
