The cold ring rolling technology is a new craft to produce high quality seamless rings. The ring is rolled by drive roller and mandrel roller, drive roller offer rotation to make ring rotate continuously and mandrel roller offer line feed to make the ring wall become thinner and thinner. The guide roller ensure the ring rolled comfort, and inspect roller check the rings diameter whether reach the limit dimension.The cold ring rolling realized net produce ring, which keep the metal streamline in the ring body and increase the ring force capability. The bearing's life was extended by high-tech ring produced by cold rolling craft. This craft is more efficient than traditional craft. Just for these merit of cold ring rolling craft, this technology was studied by many scientist. Now, this technology is very successful in rolling simple rings, but there are many problems in rolling complex rings which have not symmetry section shape. For example, this technology is still not mature in rolling taper ring.This paper developed a new technology to roll double rings in one process. The taper ring's irregular section shape decide the unequal forming of the ring metal when rolling ring, which is the main cause of irregular wide spread and draw concave on the symmetry face of ring. At present, the ring rolling technology roll one ring in one process, and the technology can't deal with stress focus on the sharp taper angle of mandrel roller. The new technology not only double the taper angle of mandrel roller but also increase the produce rate for rolling two rings in one process. Just as double rings rolled in one process, which cancel the axels force and high the rolling precision. Before studying single taper ring rolling craft , the full ring with two tapers rolling craft has be studied. The plastic theory and forming craft were used to optimize the experiment. The finite element simulation also be used to assistant the craft study , at last the optimized craft was be manifest success in experiment. Then, the optimized craft was applied on single taper ring rolling, because there was no force limit between two taper rings symmetry face, the wide spread and draw concave on symmetry was very serious. Through plastic calculation and finite element simulation got the optimized rough ring, and got the experiment success. At last, the technology of cold rolling two taper rings in one process was developed successfully.
