A Study On Application Of ISO14001 EMS For Environmental Management In Scenery Area

Building procedures and courses of ISO 14000 Environmental management systems (EMS) are clarified in this paper. The procedures and courses for institutions to set up an ISO 14000 EMS include: initial environmental evaluation, system design and framework, development of documents, system, testing run, inner audit and mangement assessment. The thesis explains that election and evaluation of environmental ingredients are the basic of ISO 14000 EMS. Basic on the analysis and evaluation of important environmental ingredients, several methods of evaluation for ingredients like right or wrong verdict method, marking, equal pollution capacity, matix, specialist verdict are compared in the paper. After that, the election method of important environmental ingredients for Huangshan Mt. Scenery Management Commission in the building of ISO 14000 EMS are given.The study considers the building of ISO 14000 EMS for Huangshan Mt. Scenery Management Commission(HMSMC) as an example, which focuses on procedures and the key technology of environmental management system in terms of environmental ingredient evaluation and selection. After selection of important ingredients in Huangshan Mt. Area, the target, index and management schemes, running control procedures, emergency preparation and reactions are confirmed. Finally, the environmental benefit index for the scenery area under the guidance of ISO 14001 is given for HMSMC in the paper. Since our study focuses on the scenery area, a serious results obtained could be applied in the similar management areas and the results also could be a pilot project for scenery and key point of interes.
