The author of this paper systematically studies the 80kA new-structure aluminum prebaked cell based on the application of the soderberg cell technical innovation , productive policy and strategy in order to reduce investment and energy consumption and increase profit. Some conclusions are made as following:1.Reforming on the superstructure (anode lifting machine, anode bus and pillar bus) and infrastructure(cathode bus, pot shell ,pot side wall and pot bottom) makes the cell design more reasonable and ensure the cell operating well.2.By innovating the prebaked anode shape, central feeding position and feeding mode, feeding positions are asymmetrically arranged longitudinally according to pot room and anode structure. Moreover, increasing feeding frequency decreasing feeding quantity made alumina easily soluble and the sediment was not formed. By using hyper-dense-phase alumina delivery technique,the working intensity and the fluctuation of technical parameter were reduced.3.By reforming the original intelligence control system,the performance has become more reliable,the operation has become easier and it is very convenient to extend the system,modify the procedure and refresh.4.By designing the type of fume extracting style and airtight gascollection in aluminum reduction cell,the original technique of hydro fume purifying was changed and dry purifying technique was adopted.The collection rate can reach to 95.1%.. In the discharged air, fluorine and dust are captured over 98%, which can meet the national standard of "Air Pollutants Discharge Standards" GB16297-1996. So the problem of air pollution in aluminum reduction process was effectively solved.5.By voltage equilibrium analysis and calculation of 80kA pre-baked cells, the voltage distribution and voltage drop are testified reasonably. By studying the actual measurement and theory calculation of 80kA pre-baked cells, the reliability of the overall optimized effect was tested. It is helpful to ensure the improvement of the economic index.6.1n the aspect of production technology, the author adopted some advanced techniques including "3-low and 1-high" process strategies, anodes with advanced big-grain size pitch, high anodes, protection collars for stubs, preheating with carbon powder and non-anode effect startup, etc. Because of the application of new technologies, the stability and technological-economic indices of 80kA cells have been improved obviously.The above technology reformation and innovation have offered some successful and ripe experience for the reformation of other soderberg cells, which has strategic and practical significance for ournation to shake off the laggard situation of middle and small aluminum reduction enterprises.
