Laser paper backed foil which this subject researched on is a newly arisen material of packing in new generation. These kinds of papers are to make laser pattern or writing signal add to paper backed foil by the way of stamping. They are with environmental protection, anti-falsification and novelty. Since match the international current, they upscale gradually in slap-up products. They adjust to the trend of anti-falsification. Since the surface of laser paper backed foil is vacuum plating, it can reflect many colors in light, by this special surface property, when printed, color difference, tone and color of laser paper backed foil can not be easily controlled. In order to solve these problems, this subject will study these aspects as follows: (1) We will study the surface properties of laser paper backed foil contrasting to white cardboard such as testing the glossiness, smoothness, penetrability and absorbency of ink of papers, and analyze the differences of surface properties between laser paper and white cardboard. (2) By experiments, we will draw the printing contrast curves in order to get the optimal solid density of laser paper backed foil in this condition they can put up best tone. Than in the density area, contrasting to white cardboard, we will analyze dot enlargement in order to study the affection to tone rendering of laser paper backed foil by drawing their tone rendering curves. (3) By experiments we will draw the color contrast curves in order to get the optimal solid density of laser paper backed foil in this condition they can put up best color. Than in the density area, contrasting to white cardboard, we will analyze the affection to color rendering of surface properties of laser paper backed foil with printing inks of yellow, magenta, cyan. Meanwhile, we will test color cost, gray value of laser paper backed foil, golden paper backed foil and white cardboard with every kind of ink. According to the result, we will draw the round range picture to analyze affection to color rendering of laser paper backed foil contrasting to the other two papers.Through the study of this paper, we can help printing corporation to control color separation and gray balancein order to make sure printing parameter and form regular and digital quality management, which can avoid repeated proofing and save time.
