Research On Paper Background Correction Method

Paper whiteness is one of paper performances. So in the papermaking process the factory will choose to add chemical reagents, such as fluorescent whitening agent to remove the paper contains impurities, improve the whiteness of paper, and make the paper shiny. This will increase the reproduce color gamut of paper and greatly improve the color quality of paper print. Yet all kinds of chemical reagents and the corresponding process operation improve the paper quality at the same time lead to the cost of resources and environmental pollution. And the chemical properties of fluorescent whitening agent itself may also affect the accuracy of the copy. Some paper, though not add fluorescent whitening agent itself with the color, in the actual process of printing, using these non-standard paper with its own color characteristics and does not conform to the ISO standard will cause the graphic information transmission non-conformance. But the color paper is rarely add chemical reagent production process and production materials from straw, if this kind of paper can be widely used the environmental significance will go without saying.This paper used color correction methods as the research object, firstly introduced the research background, purpose and significance, determined the main research content on the basis of color paper correction methods at home and abroad; Secondly, this paper introduced the theory and technology involved, including paper background overview, color management technology overview, main technical index of color correction, provided theoretical support for the article.In this paper, the research process is as follows: measured the value of paper’s Lab using the spectrophotometer, and cleared about the partial color paper. The linear correction stage of color management technology had CGS custom window, this window could be loaded all the density value. In order to obtain various densities value had designed gray balance table experiment. Because the color paper will affect human’s judgment, the gradual curves drawn from gray balance table based on visual were more conform to human’s visual perception. After concluded a series of numerical value, inputted and loaded them into the CGS software, printed linearization table again, until the measured value caught up with the target, provided good guidance for the linearization process. Then set the maximum ink quantity and the quantity of each single channel ink, and then characterized the equipment using the right means of 4 kinds of color gamut mapping intention. After the color correction, created a digital print workflow aimed at the color paper.In order to observe the difference caused by linear, had designed ECI2002 color table in software i1 profiler, obtained configuration files after measuring. Using the comparison function of EFI Color Verifier and i1 profiler generated three-dimensional figure and compared them. Made a digital print workflow according to the mute powdered paper, and using this process output the same ISO standard drawing on the mute powdered paper and partial color paper.Using spectrophotometer to get graphic field density, chromatic aberration and other data, scientifically analyze and judge the paper color correction methods both subjectively and objectively. Using color correction method based on color management technology can realize paper color correction, solve the influence on printing copy, and provide technical support for the extensively use of environmental protection paper.
