This paper is based on the real operation of Paris Blues company. PARIS BLUES company usually just makes out the rough sewing requirement for the jean pants, so the factories in China, who accept the purchase orders, must prepare all kinds of work before the jean pants are sewn. So the factories must complete the pattern-making process and sewing arrangement process. According to this, I investigated all the PARIS BLUES's factories and got the first-hand technical documents, including different pattern-making methods, sewing techniques, the equipment arrangement, etc. Based on the real information, the paper sets its aim to reduce the pattern-making time and manufacture time.The sizes of PARIS BLUES's pants are relatively fixed, which provides us some convenience to think of some method to reduce the pattern-making time. First, get the best way to make the patterns, then collect some patterns to be a datebase so that the pattern can be easily modified if necessary, and reduce the pattern-making time, which has taken up 1/3—1/5 of the available time for the factories, to the least. The part of pattern revising includes creating the number rules for key points and curves on the pattern, creating the patterns revising theory and means. Finally I have proved the correctness of the pattern revising way through experiments.The study of reducing the producing time comes out of the mainproblems in the real producing processes. Some un-fixed and unefficient flow sewing lines are unreasonable and difficult to suit the coming colorful pants styles and suit the dynamic balance. The flow sewing lines depend on the producing managers who have enough experience through many years work on clothing factories, so many lines still exist with lacking of technology, knowledge, and random suitability, and they can not meet the PARIS BLUES'demand. Through investigating these factories, analyse all the condition, we thought of how to settle these problems. This research uses mathematic algorithm to do with the working procedure assembly, and uses genetic algorithm to optimize the working places arrangement. Flow sewing lines have been optimized, and they have been become feasible, fexible and workable. The balance curve on working place, the effience curve, the total producing time and the distance of moving the pants' panels when sewing them, all of them can evaluate the flow sewing line.The quick and intelligent respond system mainly includes pattern resiving and virtual simulation in the optimized flow line. In the meantime, the system contains much useful experience knowledge. Furthermore, my research can be the base for the further study on PARIS BLUES'S pants producing.
