Oil-gas gathering and transportation system is the main project of the oilfield surfaceengineering, in which the investment usually accounts for 60 to 70 percent of the entire surfaceengineering. Oil-gas gathering and transportation system is mainly the pipeline network of"pipeline—station". Oil-gas gathering process of tree type double pipes blending water is theprevalent process in oilfield. The initial investment of this system is very large, so is energyconsumption of the system. Energy consumption of the system is the important part of theoperation cost of the system, and it is related with blending water quantity, blending watertemperature, pipeline length, pipeline diameter, liquid output of oil well, water cut, and so on.However, these factors are interactional. So, it is necessary to study the parameters of oil-gasgathering and transportation system, and can give optimal operation parameters and providereasonable operation scheme on condition of minimal energy consumption.In this paper, the study object is from well head to transfer station of surface gathering andtransportation pipeline network. Based on the given layout network, parameters optimization oftree type double pipes blending water oil-gas gathering system has been studied in the paper.Firstly, a model of parameters optimal design of tree type double pipes blending water oil-gasgathering system is established with minimal energy consumption cost as an objective function.This model is non-linear optimization and can be solved with POWELL method combined withmixture SUMT method. Secondly, optimal design applied programme of tree type double pipesblending water oil-gas gathering system with Visual Basic has been developed.Lastly, it has applied in the four transfer stations of Xing liu station and providedreasonable operation scheme. It can make operation cost reduce from 2.2 to 7.8 percent inpractical application. All of these can give a great help to optimal design of system and practicalmanagement.
