Technology Of Producing Low-sulfur Oil Oxidized By Green Oxidant

Abstract/Summary:
Potassium ferrate is green,high selective and powerfully oxidizing agents. A newmethod of desulphurization with potassium ferrate was proposed. the adsorption,oxidized-adsorption,extraction and oxidized-extraction desulphurization technics werestudied,and the optimal condition of desulphurization was determined by investigatingeffects of various factors on the desulphurization.The experiment result indicated that: (1)The optimal oxidized–adsorption conditionsof thiophene are the amount of potassium ferrate of 0.0135g, SW-2 of 0.006g,reactivetemperature of 30℃ ,reaction time of 60min.farinose active carbon of 1.0g,adsorptiontemperature of 30 ℃,adsorption time of 20min.With this conditions,the content ofthiophene in the hexamethylene reduced from 200mg/L to 15mg/L,the desulphurizationratio reached 92%.(2)The optimal adsorption conditions of thianaphthene are farinoseactive carbon of 0.8g,the adsorption temperature of 30 ℃,adsorption time of 20min.Withthis conditions,the content of thianaphthene in the hexamethylene solution reduced from200mg/L to 1mg/L,the desulphurization ratio reached 99.2%.(3)The optimal conditions ofoxidized-extractive desulfurization are the potassium ferrate of 0.2720g, SW-3 of 0.0019g,the temperature of 30 ℃, reaction time of 60min,using 99.5% methyl alcohol asextractor,the extractive temperature of 15℃,the solvent to oil ratio of 1:1, the extractivetime of 15min. With this conditions,the content of thiophene reduced from 100mg/L to41.76mg/L,the desulphurization ratio is 58.24%,the desulphurization ratio is 3.5 times toextraction without oxidizing,the oxidized effect is remarkable. The optimal conditions ofabsorption desulfurization are the powder activaed charcoal of 2.0g,the temperature of30℃,reaction time of 20min.With this conditions,the content of thiophene reduced from100mg/L to 20.3mg/L,the desulphurization ratio is 79.7 % . (4) The optimaloxidized–adsorption conditions of pentane are the amount of potassium ferrate of 0.1786g,SW-4 of 0.5ml,the temperature of 30℃ ,reaction time of 60min, using 50%ethanol asextractor.With this conditions,the content of sulfur in the pentane reduced to 1mg/L,thedesulphurization ratio reached 98.0%. when adding 1.0ml SW-5, using farinose activecarbon as sorbent, the content of sulfur in the pentane reduced to 2mg/L. (5)The gasolineoxidized with potassium ferrate ,then extracted with DMF, the sulfur in the gasolinereduced from 50mg/L to 10.1mg/L,the desulphurization ratio is 79.8%.(6)The oxidizeddesulphurization performance increases by order of potassium ferrate>30%hydrogenperoxide >2%chlorine dioxide, the potassium ferrate is the best one.
