Flue Gas Desulphurization is the most effective method to restrain airpollution by SO2. A new Flue Gas Purification technology, AdvancedOxidation Process based on Ammonia (AOPAmmonia) was developed bythis paper to overcome the shortcomings of high energy consume and dealingwith the byproducts by traditional Ammonia Process and Calcium Process.The compound absorbing tower is the foremost equipment of AOP Process.Two stages absorbing appears in the tower, where SO2 is absorbed and(NH4)2SO3 is oxidized simultaneously. The paper presented the composing ofAOPAmmonia and depicted the constructions of compound tower in details.The following aspects are the main achievements of this paper:1. Established the model of spray stage, ascertaining that the height andamount of spraying liquor are the key factors which confirm the rate ofdesulphurization of this stage.2. Investigated the flow conditions of gas-liquid on the tower pan.Established the function of bubble's radius and the velocity of stack gas viathe hole .Analyzed that coefficient of mass transfer is determined by characterof substances and flow condition of gas-liquid.3. Make clear about the balance of main ingredients. Following the presentconditions, fulfilled the experiment of accumulating the concentration ofabsorbing liquid, which reach 30% at last. Discovered that the presence of(NH4)2SO4 has less influence to absorbing. Revealed the mechanism of thelaw which control the balance of (NH4)2SO3.4. Developed the way of injecting Ammonia to overwhelm the presentmatter of aerosol pollution.
