Cooperative learning emerged as the new approach to classroom has received universal attention by the domestic educators since 1970s.There is a lack of research on how the cooperative learning is carried out based upon the organic chemistry course in the higher vocational college in China .Accroding to the characteristics of the vocational students and the organic chemistry course,this thesis has constructed self-regulated cooperative learning model and then confirmed its superiority through the teaching experiment. 149 students in grade one who studied in the higher vocational college were chosen as the object of the study, the class of biotechnology 04303 named experimental class 1 was assigned to using the self-regulated cooperative learning model , the biotechnology class 04302 named experimental class 2 was assigned to using the cooperative learning model and the class of animal quarantine, animal nourishment, pasturage class were assigned to the control group in order to find the difference between the effect of two kinds of cooperative learning model under the similar standard .The data had been analysised by SPSS 11.0 ,through comparing the organic chemistry scores between the experimental class 1 and experimental class 2, experimental class 1 and control class and experimental class 2 and control class.After the teaching experiment has came to end, in process of investigation " investigation by questionnaire of the cooperation study " is used .which aims to verify the effects of self-regulated cooperative learning on the higher vocational student. Conclusion are obtained from the results of teaching experiment: 1. The performance of the student who studied in the way ofcooperative learning in the higher vocational college have beengreatly improved .2. Great differences have been occurred between the cooperative learning and the traditional cooperative learning models on the chemistry study.The self-regulated cooperative learning model produces better performance than the traditional one does in the higher cocational college.3. The result shows it is fit for the organic chemistry course teaching that the self-regulated cooperative learning mode" Self- studying — Exchanging in group — Exchanging between groups—Teaching— contesting between groups— Suming and Evaluating " applied in the ninty minutes classroom.4. The self-regulated cooperative learning model has made remarkable effect especially on the learning strategy: self-regulated cooperative learning can help the students to master the learning strategy in a better way.The teaching experiment also indicated that, it can sharpen student's learning capability and effectively sharpen student's study ability, and other abilities such as the ability of cooperation when the self-regulated cooperative learning were carried out integrating the characteristics of the concrete students and course.
