With the development of economy, China's higher education is increasingly popular. As a part of the higher education, higher vocational education is developing rapidly in recent years. The study on the teaching model of higher vocational education is paid much attention to.This paper studies modes of vocational education in and out of our country. According to the fostering objective and teaching rules of higher vocational education. Using the experience of MES mode and CBE theory, directed by the cognition constructionist study theory and teaching theory, it puts forward the teaching model of "modular research-discussion class", this model stresses "connecting the development of students". Its objective is to develop students professional comprehensive ability and life-long sustainable development ability, it adopts open teaching content and open class environment, students are the subject of the teaching activity, the teacher is the organizer and director of the teaching activity.
