Wear resistant silicone coating could be used for optical plastics. It is usually prepared by hydrolysis of silicones followed by curing process. This method is of great advantages in simple process, good stability, high degree of wear-resistance, good adherence, low curing temperature and low cost. The hypostasis for preparation of this coating is the hydrolysis and polycondensation of polycomponent of silicones through the process. With GC to follow the cohydrolysis of MTMOS and TEOS, it was found that the cohydrolysis experiences two stages, the fast stage and the following slow stage. The rates of the first and second step of hydrolysis of MTMOS were higher than that of the first step of hydrolysis of TEOS, but the the rate of the second step of hydrolysis of TEOS was higher than that of MTMOS during the cohydrolysis. With GPC to follow the polycondensation of silicol and Zetasizer to follow the growth of particles in the coating solution at 80℃, the reaction is studied. The half-life of themagnitude of moleculars was obtained by analyzing the change of M_n|─ during thereaction, which indicated the rate of polycondensation of silicol during the reaction time. In the studied reaction systems, the half-life of the magnitude of molecular of systems of GC, GA and 2E4MZ were all decreasing, comparing to that of the None system: GC
